The Bryan Smart trained Astrozone is set to deliver! He is yet to run a bad race during her short career to date and can should get off the mark in the Ladbrokes Where The Nation Plays Nursery Handicap at Wolverhampton.
Astrozone caught the eye on her debut at Beverley in a few months back and has demonstrated more than enough potential to start winning races.
She was a little naive in the Westwood in the summer, having the tricky outside stall and drifted badly. However, she impressively made up the ground late on and should be upgraded significantly.
Two weeks later at Catterick she was unfortunate enough to bump into Romantic Vision, who is now rated 83 and beat the penalty next time out.
It was then Beverley and Southwell for her next outings. At Beveley she ran well for third behind another good horse Magical Journey, who progressed to be second in Listed company. Then, not quite looking comfortable on the fibresand she finished 2nd again.
Now back on a better surface at Dunstall Park, she looks finally set to strike!
